Women’s Health
Our reproductive health and fertility are a part, expression and source of our overall health. At The Stram Center we maintain that a broader understanding of the individual is just as essential as a focused examination of the reproductive system and it’s functioning within that person. Our integrative approach to women’s health provides holistic, balanced and effective care to achieve tangible results in a way that feels fulfilling to the individual.
Acupuncture, herbal formulations, nutritional supplements and lifestyle strategies are at the core of what we have found to be useful for women’s health. Whether it be acupuncture to substantially increase the probability of successful pregnancy, herbal supplements to help support and adjust the bodies natural cycle, or nutritional guidelines to promote reproductive health, we have developed effective strategies through research and experience.
Our investigative approach through our comprehensive initial medical appointment will include taking a complete medical history, physical exam, review of previous lab work, ordering appropriate additional testing including an extensive analysis of hormone levels, diet history, and most importantly, listening to the detailed story you present. Like our medical practitioners, our naturopathic physicians' role in women's health is to take a more holistic approach in order to relieve ailments and achieve optimal female health; in addition, our naturopaths will review other remedies such as homeopathic and enzymatic intervention that can help balance the body and provide symptom relief. As always, treating the root cause of any health concern is paramount to any comprehensive medical appointment at the Stram Center.
Some of the women’s health concerns we see often at the Center include:
- Infertility
- IVF/IUI support
- Premenstrual syndrome
- Menopausal symptoms
- Fibroids
- Cysts
- PCOS
- Endometriosis
- Fibroids
- Relative progesterone insufficiency

The Comprehensive Approach to Women’s Health
The diagnosis never tells the whole story. We work with the diagnosis you come in with, and it is useful information, but we won’t stop there. We want to know how you as an individual experience your entire state of health, and to help you discover those things that can be changed, modified or added to make your experience of health a more complete and fulfilling one.
Our Special Team Approach To Your Health Care
At the Center, your practitioner has the opportunity to consult with complementary practitioners and medical doctors about your health concerns and the progress you are making. These practitioners are always available to you as well.
We take great pride in our staff's special team consulting approach to the care of our patients, giving you the best that Integrative Medicine has to offer.
