MICC (acronym for the compounds: L-Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Cyanocobalamin) is a lipotropic blend of agents that help with the breakdown of fat during metabolism in the body, making MICC known commonly as the "fat burning" injection. These compounds also may have other functions, especially inositol and choline, including improving mental function and feelings of depression. Here are some benefits of key MICC compounds:

Methionine, a required amino acid for humans found in food has a host of benefits including:

  • Improves tone and pliability of skin, hair, and nails;
  • involved in detoxifying processes;
  • Sulfur component protects cells from pollutants, slows aging of cells, and essential for the absorption of zinc and selenium;
  • Aids in the excretion of heavy metals such as lead and mercury;
  • helps break down sugars and carbohydrates and convert to enery.

Inositol: involved in cellular signaling and a component of cell membranes, sometimes it is referred  to as a pseudo vitamin of the B Complex class; helps convert food into energy.

Choline: A precursor of acetylcholine, it is involved in many metabolic processes such as lipid metabolism; Choline is essential to helping prevent excess fat build up in the liver; helps convert fat to energy; reduces muscle recovery time; and important for healthy nerve cells.

Cyanocobalamin: also known as Vitamin B12, is a component of many processes including neural metabolism, RNA and DNA production, carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism, improves iron function, to name a few.
