Danielle Stram, M.S. Ed, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I am a licensed mental health counselor who offers a warm, empathetic, judgement-free, and safe space for individuals to explore their bodies, deeper selves, work through life’s challenges, and to create more meaning to their lives. I am devoted to working collaboratively with you, to uncover more of who you are and what you strive to be.
My approach to therapy is rooted in anti-oppression and decolonization. I utilize concepts and techniques from psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapy, IFS, and Mindfulness. My experience has been working with individuals and couples ranging from teens to late 70s who are suffering from chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. With my experience working in the complex mental health care system in NYC, I saw first-hand the connections our minds play in our physical health. I can help facilitate the exploration and usage of healthy mental health coping strategies whilst bearing and greiving the weight of chronic illness.
I am passionate about building a trusting and supportive relationship with my clients. I believe the relationship between the client and therapist is the most important element in this process. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to connect with people and to help them find their inner strength and wisdom. I aim to support you in living freely and authentically; to access more love towards yourself and others. By challenging yourself in therapy, it can help bring you closer to obstacles you felt you could never overcome, but more importantly, therapy can help bring you closer to yourself and your needs, mind, body and soul. I hope to join you on this beautiful journey.

“When we bravely let in the supportive web that is therapy, we then learn to weave in the understanding and ability to support and care for ourselves. I look forward to opening up new possibilities to your healing.”
