Curcumin Infusion Therapy

Benefits of Curcumin Infusions

Curcumin is derived from the Indian spice, Turmeric. Curcumin has been shown to benefit inflammatory conditions, metabolic syndromes, pain management, and as an adjunct to traditional cancer therapy. The oral ingestion of curcumin has poor bioavailability due to poor absorption in the gut, rapid metabolism, and rapid elimination from the body. Curcumin infusions bypass the gut and thereby allowing for greater uptake by the body.

Antioxidant

Curcumin has shown to improve systematic markers of oxidative stress and it can also increase the level of our own natural antioxidants, such as Glutathione, in the bloodstream. Anti-Inflammatory Inflammation has been linked to several chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinsons, MS, epilepsy, cerebral injury, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and arthritis to name a few. Curcumin has been shown to reduce inflammatory markers through many different mechanisms within the body.
