Nut Free Pesto

This a classic in every kitchen! This recipe is nut free for those who are allergic to pine nuts or walnuts. This recipe is high in nutrients and has healthy fats. This is a staple recipe to top off your proteins, salads, or on toast! Enjoy!

Ingredients

1.     2 Cups Basil, fresh

2.     1 bundle of cilantro

3.     1 lemon, juiced

4.     3 cloves of cubed garlic

5.     ½ cup of EVOO

Preparation Steps

1.     Add basil, cilantro, juiced lemon, garlic, EVOO, and a pinch of salt into a food processor. 

2.     Serve over a salad, bread, or protein.

Total time: 10 minutes

Calories: 70 per 1 tablespoon
