Gluten Free Berry Crumble Dessert

Sometimes all you want is warm and comforting dessert! This is a low carb, gluten free, and low sugar version to help those who follow an anti-inflammatory diet. This is ideal for our diet plans! This dessert is high in fiber, antioxidant, phytonutrients, and packed with Vitamin C. This is a great recipe for those who are on a diet but want a special treat!

Ingredients

1.     1 Tablespoon of Orange Juice, Fresh. Save a small amount of the orange skin for zest!

2.     2 Tablespoon of Honey  (or other sweetener of your choice)

3.     ¾  cups of Almond Flour

4.     ¼ Cup Coconut flour

5.     Salt, 2-3 sprinkles

6.     4 Tablespoon Butter

7.     1 Large egg

8.     1 Teaspoon of vanilla.

9.     4 Cups of Berries

Preparation Steps

1.     Preheat Oven to 375

2.     Add Orange juice, zest, honey, almond flour, coconut flour, salt, butter, egg, and vanilla into a food processor. Lightly pulse until it is crumbly. Do not over mix!

3.     Add berries to a baking dish (lightly spray before adding)

4.     Add crumble mix on top of the berries. 

5.     Bake for 25-30 minutes or until berries are bubbling.

Total Time: 50 Minutes

Calories: 150
