Chocolate Covered Banana Pops

Bananas offer us pre-biotic fibers that aid in digestion. This tasty treat is a low carb, low sugar option for those who want a sweet treat! Green, less ripe, bananas offer us the most nutritional value and least amount of sugar. Plus, using dark chocolate is best. This dessert is great for the summertime and it is very simple.

Ingredients
  1. A Bundle of Bananas 
  2. 1 Package of Dark, Semi-Sweet, Chocolate chips
  3. Topping of your choice: nuts, fruits, etc. 
  4. Kabab sticks
Preparation Steps
  1. Peel your bananas and put the kabab sticks through each fruit
  2. Melt your chocolate chips until they are completely smooth (melted chocolate should be in a mug or glass)
  3. Carefully dip each banana into the mug/glass of melted chocolate chips until they are coated to your liking
  4. Top off with dried fruit, nuts, or coconut flakes
  5. Freeze for 1-2 hours or until frozen

Total Prep Time: 10 minutes

Freeze Time: 1-2 hours

Calories: 170 per Banana
