Brazil Nut Milk
This recipe is great for those who are on dairy free diet. Making your own nut milk is great to control the sugar in your diet! This recipe is perfect for those who want to limit dairy and follow an anti-inflammatory diet.
Ingredients
1. 1 Cup Brazil Nuts *any nut of your choice will work in this recipe*
2. 3 Cups of Filtered water
3. 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
4. 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
Preparation Steps
1. Soak your nuts over night in water.
2. Drain the nuts.
3. Add the nuts to a blender with the filtered water, you may add less water if you want the flavor to be higher.
4. Season with cinnamon and vanilla.
5. Blend until completely liquid (about 1-2 minutes
6. Pour liquid over a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl. (You are left with the nut pulp, you can save this for muffins and other foods!)
