Lisa treated myself and my daughter over a period of three months. My daughter was extremely ill and getting treatment for Lyme disease and Lisa’s myofascial massages were the sole reason she managed to get her through the treatment. They helped to relieve the pain of the Lyme and the herx symptoms of the treatment. Before Lisa started her work Lorna (aged 13) had not been touched by anyone for over a year as she was in so much pain. She absolutely loves Lisa to this day, as do I. As well as Lisa’s very in depth knowledge of her work, she is very highly trained in myofascial massage, she also has healing hands and a wonderful kind heart that makes everyone want to be in her company. I also enjoyed weekly treatments. It was always the high point of my week. The treatments helped greatly to get us both through a difficult time in our lives. Before I began working with Liza, I had been suffering with nagging back pain from an old injury. I was excited to try acupuncture, but skeptical that it would help. Acupuncture relieved the pain and many other symptoms! When I began to suffer from relentless hot flashes, my first thought was to return to Liza. Amazingly, the hot flashes have completely resolved. It would be impossible to thank the entire Stram Center enough for helping me with my Lyme Disease. After going to hospitals in NY, Philadelphia, Boston, NJ, Mayo Clinic . I was diagnosed with a ton of diseases none of which I had. Finally, I found my way thanks to a friend to the Cleveland Clinic. They had just opened a division for patients like me that cannot get diagnosed. Cleveland diagnosed me with chronic Lyme and sent me immediately to The Stram Center.
